Mentell is seeking three Community Champions to represent and support our work across the following areas:

• Chester – including Chester, Ellesmere Port, and surrounding areas

• Cheshire East – including Congleton and Macclesfield

• High Peak – including Buxton, Matlock, and Belper

Pay

£12.50p/h

‍

Mentell are looking for extraordinary individuals in their community to help us spread the word about our charity, raise awareness and get men talking! You’ll be in charge of turning your town blue, from bars to building sites and supermarkets to swimming pools. You will be the face of Mentell within your community as well as running the local Mentell Facebook page.

Community duties will include:

• Signing up new venues, such as pubs, gyms and libraries to our TYBB campaign

• Restocking existing venues and updating Airtable

• Keeping up-to-date records of those in charge of TYBB venues

• Collection, counting and banking of collection pots

• Liaising with business owners, landlords and venue managers for fundraising events and quiz nights

• Organise and attend awareness events within the community

• Act as a Mentell representative at invited events

We are looking for the following people:

• Excellent knowledge of your local community

• Enthusiastic, proactive and confident

‍

Full training will be provided and you will be expected to spend approx. 3 hour a week within the community (a driving licence and access to a car is essential). This will be a self employed role and you will be required to invoice us every month.
